After a 25 year career in martial arts and combat sports, Jennifer was in constant pain and turned to yoga for relief. She spent many years in a pattern of extreme use and abuse of her body. The yoga path helped her see a more gentle way to treat herself, and through that found healing from more than she imagined possible. Jennifer earned her RYT 200 at Om in 2019, and in 2021 made the shift to teaching yoga full time. Her background in movement arts informs her teaching. She believes that mobility and stability make us more confident movers, and that embodied movement is a practice open to all human bodies. Her goal with teaching yoga is to bring mindful movement to her clients, helping all people feel grounded and open, empowered to turn within and explore.
