This class is taught by:

Michelle Miller

Born in Canada, Michelle's love for movement and exercise began at a young age in professional dance. She started practicing yoga in 1998 in LA. Michelle's passion is to connect with people. She lives to share her knowledge and experiences to help those on their path of self-discovery and personal growth. She successfully completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training program in May 2015, led by Johnna Smith and Maria Lages. She is grateful for her wonderful husband and 2 beautiful children who fill her heart with love.

Pam Jamieson

Pam's yoga journey began around 6 years ago, as a path to physical health. It then became a journey inward that led Pam to a stronger connection to her intuition and heart. Pam's practice has helped her grow on and off the mat, not only physically, but also mentally and spiritually. This path of learning continues to fuel her and her teaching. Pam completed her 200-hr training in 2016 at Enlighten Yoga in Charlotte, NC. She likes to combine aspects from different styles of yoga in her classes including ashtanga, vinyasa universal, and jivamukti yoga. In Pam's classes, you will move with your breath through sequences to build strength and flexibility. Balancing poses on your feet and hands will be offered. Pam likes reminding her students that falling isn't failing - it's a chance to try again. She also believes you are stronger than you realize!

April Cannon

April has been practicing Yoga for over 15 years. She has studied with many amazing teachers such as Laruga Glaser, John Bultman, Tim Miller, Michael Gannon, and Baron Baptiste to name a few. As a result, April brings to Om over 800 hours of Yoga education and training. Her classes are full of charisma, laughter and community, as well as many opportunities to take your practice to the next level. Whether you are a beginner or seasoned practitioner you will leave her classes with a greater understanding of postures and alignment. Not to mention some yummy assists! April is a survivor of Sepsis, a life threatening complication of an infection in which the body begins to shut down to protect itself. 28-50% of people with Sepsis die annually. Those who survive often have organ damage, PTSD, and/or loss of limbs. She is grateful for her recovery and strives to share with her students the importance of gratitude for even the smallest of things. She holds a BA in Middle Eastern studies from the University of Texas at Dallas and has been married to her husband John for 20 years.

Dawn Boland

Dawn's yoga practice started when a fellow runner suggested that she check out yoga to help improve her run performance. Her initial reaction was, “Yea, like yoga will really help my run." Reluctantly, she tried yoga. She instantaneously fell in love with the practice. Not only did it help with her performance, but it was also an amazing work out that helped with mind, body, and soul. Her yoga practice became her escape from the stresses of life. Dawn decided to deepen her practice by completing her 200-hour teacher certification with Maria Lages and Johnna Smith at Om Yoga. She is also a holistic life coach and in the process of becoming a Mind, Body, and Fitness coach. When Dawn is not doing yoga, she loves to run, read, and spend time with family and her wonderful rescue dog, Zoie. She also loves everything that is nature and being outdoors.

Intermediate flow, combining basic and advanced poses and offering modifications. This is a well balanced class and great way to increase your heart rate, expand lung capacity, improve balance, strengthen core muscles and increase flexibility. Get a great balanced practice in just an hour!
